This will depend on the turnaround for your installation and activation. Once the line has been installed in your premises it can take up to 5 days for the provider to activate your line.
The installation and activation fees are prescribed by the last-mile provider, not OptaServ. All packages are for residential signups only. Businesses, unfortunately, cannot sign up for these packages.
Absolutely! We don't like contracts. So, we allow upgrades and downgrades of Fibre speeds up until 5pm on the last day of the month. Keeping in mind that fibre speed upgrades are solely dependent on the provider.
Activation fees are covered for selected Fibre providers by the Save up to R5000 promotion. Activation fees are also applicable on line migrations (when you move from one ISP to another).
For new Fibre installations, router delivery will only be dispatched once the last-mile provider has confirmed your Fibre installation order has been placed.
OptaServ Fibre packages are uncapped, unshaped and unthrottled - There are no usage thresholds so you can use as much data as you like, whenever you like. No throttling or shaping will be applied.
